25 Things You Didn’t Know About Us

[intro]Allow us to introduce ourselves, we are Melissa and Justin, a husband and wife photography team. We thought you might like to get a little personal by getting to know a more about us! Here’s our first installment of our top 25:[/intro]

1. After 12 years of being married, we still live for our friday date nights…

2. Justin was Melissa’s roommate’s cousin.

3. We met in college in Justin’s Grandma’s basement.

4. Our 1st date was a basketball game at Rick’s College. (now BYU-I)

5. Our shared love for humor was one of the first “sparks” between us.

6. We got engaged at the river by the Idaho Falls falls, on a cool and moon-lit night.

7. Melissa’s Grandpa married us in the Portland, OR temple

8. Justin’s electronics collection is out of control, as is Melissa’s closet.

9. We named our oldest daughter Hannah.

10. Melissa is part of the 26.2 club, twice over. (Stinson Beach and Mesa Falls Marathons)

11. Growing up, Justin was the spoiled baby brother, while Melissa was the forgotten middle child.

12. Our son, Luke, will most likely become a chef. He has an undying love for all things food.

13. We love to go on road trips.

14. Lambert Ruins is one of our most favorite hidden gems.

15. We love breakfast at noon.

16. It’s our dream to have a house/studio/shop on acreage in the country.

17. We appreciate good pizza.

18. Our daughter, Hailey, is a pocket full of sass!

19. “Our Song” is “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds 5.

20. Justin is a huge basketball fan – go Jazz!

21. We are passionate Artists through & through, and even often find ourselves talking to strangers about what we do.

22. Justin drives a 1970 vintage Ford Bronco.

23. Melissa was Made in Oregon, while Justin is a Utah boy born and raised.

24. Justin has been a professional graphic designer and photographer since 2005, starting his career in the advertising industry. Melissa is the more talkative and social of the two of us, she loves to direct and pose clients.

25. Gavin was the baby that completed our family.
