(Although an indoor session in your home, or at a studio with great backdrops can look amazing as well! We offer both!) The most popular trend is to do a session on location, often times a photographer will even allow you to chose the place. With virtually unlimited options as to where to have your session, how do you choose?[/intro]

When you don’t have a specific place in mind, we will always help with a selection. We’ve got our favorite tried and true locations that we can suggest, and we always work together to come up with the perfect location for you.

Here are some steps to help your find the best location for your next session:

1. Do you want an indoor or outdoor session?

• Things to consider: Weather, time of day, size of group

2.  Once you figure out if you want an indoor or outdoor session you need to figure out what look you want-

• Looks to consider: your home, nature, urban, industrial, classic architecture, farm, amusement park, beach, woods, field, river, lake. . .

3. After you figure out a general look you’ll want to decide what kind of clothes you’ll wear and a color scheme.

• Things to consider:  Dressy vs. casual clothing. . .What will you be using these photos for? Will they be displayed in your home/do you want the colors to go with your decor? Are you using the images for a holiday card or event?
