The Harris Family I Utah Family Photographer

[intro]”Mrs. Harris” was my oldest daughter’s first grade teacher. We’ve loved her for years. After meeting her family, I instantly feel in love with them too! Not only is baby Aidan precious, but he has amazing parents. I asked Kendall to share a little more about her fam and here’s what she had to say:[/intro]

We go by Casey, Kendall, and Aidan (all Harris:)).

What’s your favorite thing to do as a family?

Our favorite thing to do as a family right now is just to hang out at home and spend time together as a family doing things like watching movies or just relaxing. Aidan loves it when his daddy gets home from work and Casey loves it just as much…he is the best daddy to Aidan!

The latest news going on in your family?

Aidan is 6 weeks old as of yesterday. He’s smiling a lot now, and his smile is our favorite thing in the whole world! Casey and I celebrated our anniversary on November 7th. We’ve been married for 5 years and have known each other for about 9! We’re getting ready to celebrate the holidays and are so excited for Aidan’s first Christmas! We’re so glad that we have so much family around that we’ll get to celebrate with as well.

Quirky things about family members:

Aidan was born with more hair than i’ve ever seen on a newborn, aside from myself when I was born (I actually had even more:)). He loves to be held and is the cuddliest baby! They gave him sugar water at the hospital and he absolutely loved it…we can already tell he’s going to have mom’s sweet tooth! He has long fingers like his dad, and we’re pretty sure he’s going to be tall like dad as well.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Aidan was born on October 1, and he was 5 days early. We needed him to wait until October 1st, and of course, I went into active labor on the evening of September 30th (about 5:30 pm). We were sure he was going to be born on the night of September 30th, but he didn’t end up making his arrival until 2:05 p.m. on the 1st, about 20 hours from the time I checked into the hospital! He was 7 pounds 6 ounces, which is more than two full pounds less than his mom was when she was born! at 6 weeks, i’m pretty sure he still weighs less than I did at birth.
