Katie & Jonathan: Bridals
[intro]The “I-dos” have been said and this cute couple is starting the next chapter of their lives together. Here is how everything got started.[/intro]
How did he propose?
Katie: He led me on a scavenger hunt all over Provo to spots that were important to us. At each spot, a friend and a yellow rose (my favorite color is yellow) were waiting for me. After he proposed, Jonathan had doughnuts and cheese bread for us to eat. He knows me so well. It was very, very sweet and romantic.
Jonathan: I spent a couple months working on my idea, writing poems, finding a place to propose, etc. Basically I wrote poetry that were clues for a scavenger hunt of important places in our relationship, which eventually lead her up Provo Canyon so that we could see some awesome fall leaves (fall is her favorite season so I wanted even the scenery to be special) anyway after I proposed I had set up a picnic of her favorite foods, cheese bread, doughnuts, and martinelli’s. I’ve never put so much thought into anything before.

What are the top 5 things you love about each other?
Katie: I LOVE his sense of humor. He is SUCH A DORK and I love it. He makes me laugh all the time without even trying. Jonathan is so sweet and kind. People flock to him because he really is “Mr. Nice Guy.” I love how much everyone loves him. He is great with my nephews and I know he’s going to make a great dad. He opens up the car door for me every time we get in the car. Every. Time. I love it. Jonathan will do anything to make me less stressed, from folding my laundry to listening to me vent, he is always thinking of me and how he can do things to make my life easier. He’s really thoughtful.
Jonathan: The biggest thing of why I love Katie is that she makes me laugh and being around her makes me so calm. Even though she doesn’t like medical things she is extremely supportive of my dream to be a doctor and she is willing to go through all that we have to go through to achieve that together. I love that I don’t have to be fake around her. I can talk about anything without worrying about her judging me. I love that she is smart and that I can have an intelligent conversation with her. I know that sometimes I can be critical and judgmental but Katie is pretty patient with me, she is forgiving when I’m not the nicest sweetest guy in the world, she’s my best friend, she’s is going to be a great mom…. Can I have more than 5 things?
