Natasha & Tony: Married

[intro]T&T forever! We loved Tasha and Tony’s wedding. So much dancing and so many fun friends to share the evening with! Check out the photos and read all about their cute love story here:[/intro]

How did you meet?
We met in pharmacy school. Tony sat on the other side of the room and would often daydream while staring at me 🙂
First thoughts about one another after you met?
My first thought after meeting Tony was “wow, this guy has a great, genuine smile.” Tony’s first thought when he met me was “this girl is really cool. She seems like a lot of fun.”
Who said “I love you” first?
Tony said I love you first. He originally planned on saying in person it right before Christmas, but got really nervous and said it in a Christmas card that I opened Christmas Day.
Tell us about your first date:
Our first date was a mischievous one. I introduced Tony to my favorite late night meal (carne Asada fries) and we cruised around in my car listening to music. We ended up at an apartment complex and I made Tony hop the fence that surrounded their pool so that he could let me in the gate and we could go hot tubbing. It was dead winter and there was a lot of snow, but on a whim we were hot tubbing (I’m sure illegally) and ended up having a really fun, memorable time.
Tell us about your first kiss:
Our first kiss was after several dates. We had spent a weekend in Las Vegas just a few weeks prior to this kiss and he asked after the Vegas trip if I had wanted him to kiss me. I was like….DUH! So when he came back down to visit (long distance relationship) right before Christmas, he greeted me with a big fat kiss when I opened the door. 🙂

How did you know he/she was the one?
I knew tony was the one really early on. We had met several years before we actually started dating and I knew even then that there was something special between us. It was almost as if we were two puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly. Throughout the years of being just friends, I always felt like there was something unfinished between us.  When we started dating, it became clear very early that he would be my husband 🙂 the chemistry between us made it feel like we had a lifetime full of experiences between us, when in reality it was all just starting. Tony says he knew I was the one by the feeling he got anytime he was with me.  He says that everything felt natural and he loved how he felt when we were together. After spending more time with me, he realized that we are very similar and feels like I am just a girl version of him.
How did he propose?
We took a trip to New York City to visit my brother. Tony had never been New York before so he was pretty excited to tour the city.  We had both made lists of the places we really wanted to see in the city and Tony had stated that he really wanted to go to the Rockefeller center. We had planned to go at sunset one night and when we got there, we didn’t realize that we needed tickets. We stood in line for forever and the next ticket time available wasn’t until 10pm. He really wanted to go at sunset so we decided to scrap the idea and go at sunrise (little did I know he was going to propose and this was torture for him to wait longer!) We got up bright and early the next day and were the first group to the top of the Rockefeller center. We were up there for quite a while and Tony had been acting really distracted/preoccupied. After looking at the sites and talking about all the places we had already seen, I suggested we go get breakfast. Tony said that he wanted to go look at Central Park again before we headed back down.  We stood over by that look out for a very long time. I asked again about breakfast and he said in just a minute. By now I was kind of confused by by we were up there for so long (2 hours!) It was then that he took my had and said “we need to talk”. Now I’ve only ever heard that expression when bad news is about to follow, so my heart sank. My mind started racing as I wondered why he would want to end things and how awkward our vacation was going to be after he did. He started to tell me how important I am to him and how when he thinks about the future, he envisions everything with me. He got down on one knee, presented a beautiful ring, and asked me to marry him.  Of course I said yes and the rest is history.
What are the top 5 things you love about each other?

His top 5: how we can be ourselves with each other, how caring she is, how honest and trustworthy she is, how easy going and playful she is, how adventurous she is.
My top 5: how loyal he is to the ones he loves, how easy going he is, how great/loving he is to his niece and nephew, how he will be silly with me (aka late night dance parties, random trivia games made up on a whim, etc), his genuine caring heart.
