[intro]Today it rained nearly all day. At some points it crazy cats and dogs rained. Why wouldn’t we take that opportunity to go play in it at the zoo?!? The night before, I promised the kids that we could go see the Lego Exhibit at The Phoenix Zoo today. When we woke up to the questionable weather, Hailey said, “I guess we’re not going today.”[/intro]

[intro]I’ve always been somewhat of a night owl, and not much of a morning person. Just ask my mom. She’ll tell you about a young Melissa who dreaded opening her eyes before 9am. It’s not that I can’t get up early if I have to. I just prefer not to. I’m the type of gal who likes a lazy slow start to the day. A trait that my children have inherited from me as well.[/intro]
