Holly and Mason: Married!

What are the top 5 things you love about each other?
H: I know this is going to sound SUPER cheesy, but the first thing I fell in love with was the fact that he did his calling! He didn’t just do it, he really put time into the people he home taught! Every time I would be at my girlfriend’s apts, I almost always ran into him (this was before we were dating and we still didn’t really know each other). It was so annoying! Especially because I was usually in sweats or pjs. I love that he has always put God before anything else.

I love his eyes. I don’t know why, but I have always had a huge crush on brown eyes. And his eyes, are like chocolate.

Mason is the most patient man I have ever met. I call him my “Gentle Giant” :).

I love to laugh! I love it! And Mason has made me laugh more than anyone else I have ever met. We can just joke and be silly together. When I’m sad, he sneaks into my apt and puts a Nerf gun at my bedroom door, knocks and runs, and the Nerf gun battle begins! He always goes out of his way to make me smile.

Again, this is going to sound super cheesy, but he is my best friend. We broke up because I was going on a mission, but even when we weren’t exclusively dating each other, we were still really good friends. I even tried setting him up with my roommate! (I’m really glad that didn’t work out ;). We were still there for each other and supported each other even when we weren’t romantically involved. I love the fact that I am in love with my best friend.

M: Well, I’ll try to narrow it down to five ;). The first thing I would say that I really love is her smile & laugh. My spirit just soars when I can get her laughing. It just makes me so happy! And she has such a great smile. She has this look she gives me that makes me feel so special to have her in my life. It’s awesome!

Second, would be her service. She would always talk about people in her relief society and how great they were. And it seemed like she was always cooking something for someone else in need. I loved that little busy service bee in her.

Third, to be completely honest, she is stunningly beautiful. Inside and out. She has just the sweetest smile, and absolutely gorgeous eyes!!! She knows I love her hair too:) She gives great hugs! But I could just stare at that face all day long. She’s so pretty! She is also beautiful on the inside, she’s caring, loving, and super funny!

Fourth would be some of the things that she does for me. I really love how she treats me. I feel like she tries to understand how I feel and how I see things. It really means a lot to see the efforts she puts forward to be so charitable to me. I love her for it. 🙂

Fifth: She is such a GOOF!!!! And I love it! She’s my best friend and buddy. I absolutely love that I can just be my total self around her. We laugh at some of the most random stupid things, and we have so much fun doing it! I feel like a better man around her, she makes me want to be the very best version of myself. And I love that I can talk to her about anything, and she will listen. She’s amazing.
