Jetta & Griffin: Engaged!

[intro]We just adore Jetta & Griffin! We’re so excited for their wedding. They shared their own love story with us. Read about how they met and be prepared to fall in love with this couple:[/intro]

How did you guys meet?

G: Jr. High track meet. I was the starter for the race and she was running.

J: We met at a track meet in high school! Then we started eating lunch together every day.

 
First thoughts about one another after you met?
G: What a hottie!

J: He is really cute!! What a great smile 🙂

 
Who said “I love you” first?
We don’t know….haha

 
Tell us about your first date:
G: It was the Christmas dance 2007. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe and saw I Am Legend (horrible movie by the way).

J: I asked him to a dance. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, the waitress thought he was a girl (???), and we listened to Janis Joplin in traffic.

Tell us about your first kiss:

G: Oh, the fake out! (See below)

J: He pointed at his cheek for me to kiss it, and when I got close he turned his head! I landed somewhere in the middle. So I said, try one more? And we kissed! And then I went and did horrible on a math test. Haha

 
How did you know he/she was the one?
G: She gets my weirdness.

J: He gets mine too! We just work well together 🙂

 
How did he propose?
G: At an Edward Sharpe concert…

J: On our first road trip! We saw Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros at the Red Rocks amphitheater in Colorado. During their song “Home,” he looked at me and said I want to be with you forever. And I said forever! And he put the ring on my finger. 🙂

What are the top 5 things you love about each other?
G: Hair, eyes, fashionista, we literally love the same movies, and we love cheap Mexican food

J: Sense of humor!, he’s super smart, we always have something to talk about, he is really passionate about what he loves like sports and movies, and the fact that he loves my fashionista-ness
