Kristine & Izac: Engaged
[intro]With Kristine and Izac’s wedding coming up soon, I thought maybe you’d like the inside scoop on their love story! Enjoy![/intro]
How did you guys meet?
Kristine: We met on Match.com actually. I had just moved to Arizona and was trying to meet new people and Izac actually had only joined because his dad had joined and he wanted to support him. So it’s kind of crazy that we actually ended up together, even crazier is that Izac’s dad met and married someone he met on Match as well! They sure know what they are doing :).
First thoughts about one another after you met?
Kristine: My first thoughts about Izac was that he was incredibly nice and sincere. I remember thinking this guy is seriously a nice guy and really fun to be around.
Izac: My thoughts of Kristine after we first met, were that she was cute, nice and funny, and I just enjoyed being around her.

Who said “I love you” first?
Kristine: I don’t know when or what context I said I love you in but I know I said it first lol.
Tell us about your first date:
Izac: Our first date was a lunch date at California Pizza Kitchen. I remember being really nervous but excited because we had talked a lot on the phone and through text. We had a lot of really good conversation and when I asked her to see a movie later on that night I was even more excited to get another chance to spend time with her.
Tell us about your first kiss:
Izac: Not going to lie it was the best first kiss I ever had. I definitely knew that we had a spark and that kinda scared me but I’m glad I made the move.
How did you know he/she was the one?
Izac: I gradually came to realize that she was the one because as time went on and our relationship developed I just knew that I didn’t want to have a life without her in it. I laugh every day with her and we have fun doing everything together. She’s become a part of my family and we’ve created our own family too.
Kristine: I knew Izac was the one because he makes me want to be a better person. He is an everyday reminder of the good in the world and I’m so incredibly grateful for all the love and support he has given me. I knew he was the one when I realized that he’s the person I always want to do everything with.
How did he propose?
Izac: I knew how close Kristine was to her family in Texas, so I proposed on a trip we took to visit them. I asked her godmother (who took all the family pictures) to take a picture of us to add to her photo collection and then as she went to take the picture I dropped to one knee and asked her to marry me. I originally had a whole speech planned but I was so nervous that all I could say was “Will you marry me” and thankfully she said yes and I can’t wait to marry her.
