Mary & Drew’s Wedding

[intro]Can’t tell you how much I adore Mary and Drew. She shared the story of how they met and fell in love, and I fell even more in love with them. Such a cute genuine couple. Enjoy![/intro]

How did you guys meet?
I was hanging out with our mutual friend, Jeremy, when his car broke down. Jeremy called Drew for a tow. It was my 3rd time seeing/meeting Drew and the rest, as they say, is history!

First thoughts about one another after you met?
He was extremely interested right away. I was a bit wary since I’d recently decided I was going to be single forever! We had a wonderful first day together, and he gave me his number. I wanted to play hard to get so didn’t call or text for the first week. I saw him again at a friend’s birthday party and he was still very interested. I loved how honest he was about how he felt about me so I finally texted him!

Who said “I love you” first?
I did! It was only about 2 weeks after we’d made it official but I was emotional and wanted him to know! Haha I later apologized and felt silly about it. But the a few days later he said it to me, since I’d already said it

Tell us about your first kiss:

It was at Utah lake. We walked out into the water together talking and holding hands. He leaned in and kissed me, so naturally and not awkward at all. So perfect!

How did you know he/she was the one?
The way I was instantly comfortable with him. We became best friends so quickly. He has always been so nice to me and treated me with such respect. Everything was easy with him, nothing ever forced or awkward

How did he propose?

We were on his boat at Flaming Gorge. We was telling me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. I was a bit clueless as to where he was going, so when he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring I was instantly surprised. I started crying and immediately said yes!
