Our Kids: Any Given Morning I Utah Family Photographer
[intro]These kids are about to have a rude awakening. They’ve been spending their summer having lazy mornings, laying in bed, not getting dressed, playing video games and just chillin. . .[/intro]
In less than a week school will start! These lazy mornings will soon be replaced by alarm clocks blaring, breakfast eating, actually getting dressed and ready for the day, and rushing out the door with backpacks and lunches in hand. I’m not sure that I’m entirely ready for it either.
Of course I’m excited for the quieter (and hopefully cleaner) house. . . but I’ll miss the giggles and the freedom from schedules that this summer has offered. Personally I think I prefer the bed-head look, to perfect parts and ponytails because it means that it’s just us. . . as a family. . . no one to impress. . .and no where we have to be. Yes, the back to school count down is on, but we’re going to enjoy the rest of our summer ’til then. I’m not making anyone get dressed today.
What are your plans for the rest of the summer? Are you guys are ready to get back to the grind?
